THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 09

 

GENERAL

 

1.    LIBRARY RESOURCE CENTRE - The Library will be open beginning September 13th at 8:00am until 3:45pm. It will be closed for the first 20 minutes of lunch. Come down and say Hello to your friendly Librarians.     Mrs. Muir/09-10

 

2.    ATTENTION HAMBER STUDENTS! All students interested in becoming monitors please stop by the library and pick up an application form. Experienced monitors can come to the library TODAY at 8am to sign-up for shifts. If you missed the morning sign-up, please come to the library at lunch or after school. New students interested in becoming monitors can come to the library TOMORROW at 8am to sign-up for shifts. First come, first served - don’t be late!       Ms. Lemmon/09

 

3.    CONGRATULATIONS TO HAMBER ETERNAL DRAGON TEAM FOR A GREAT SEASON and for being 2010 National Silver Medalists in Dragon boat racing! Also, the team did extremely well in the Last Gasp regatta - 2nd in 20-person boat; 4th in 10-person boat and 5th in gust & Glory (1000m. Race). Great paddling, great team!     Ms. J. Chan/09-10

 

4.    GIRLS FIELD HOCKEY 8-12 - There will be a meeting for all girls interested in playing field hockey for Eric Hamber this Friday @ lunch (11:45) in the weight room. If you cannot attend please make sure you sign-up with Mr. Sehmbi in the weight room. Tryouts will be held Monday September 13th and Wednesday September 15th on the turf after school.

MEETINGS

       

1.    I SEE LONDON! I SEE FRANCE! - Any grade 11 and 12 students interested in going on a breath-taking tour of London and France please come to an important information session at 11:50am SHARP in Ms. Mohammed’s room (A202 - New wing) on Friday, September 10th.   A bientôt!    Ms. Mohammed/08-10

 

2.    FRANCE/SPAIN TRIP PARTICIPANTS - There will be a very important meeting for all students traveling to France/Spain during Spring break on Friday, September 10th in Room 204. All participants must attend.        Ms. Manetta/08-10
