GRADUATION CEREMONY
The graduation ceremony will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4 at the Orpheum Theatre. Grade 12 students will receive a package with two free tickets and additional information about graduation on May 14. Additional tickets may be purchased for $5 each. Graduates do not need a ticket.
GRADUATION DINNER AND DANCE
Eric Hamber's Graduation Dinner and Dance will be held on Thursday, June 27 at the Pan Pacific Hotel. Most Grade 12 students have already paid for the dinner with their school fees.
PROM
Prom is NOT a school sanctioned event. There will be no adult supervisors from Hamber at this event. Students are expected to be in attendance at school prior to and after the Prom. There is no expectation that teachers will allow students to make up missed work due to absences related to Prom.
2013 CAP Art of Physics Competition
Congratulations to Pamela He who won the 3rd prize in the individual category with her picture of a spoon and milk bowl! The challenge was to capture photographically a beautiful or unusual physics phenomenon and explain it in less than 200 words in terms that everyone can understand. Click here to see her picture!
