Season 2 for Eric Hamber's Football Team
We are very excited about our second season beginning this September 2011. We are the only public school program in the city of Vancouver, British Columbia competing in the BC High School Football League. Our coaches, players and support community have the drive to build a successful football program. There are currently over 30 student athletes, student managers and student officials committed and we hope this number will grow as our program develops. As you can imagine, there are many expenses associated with starting and successfully operating a football program, and our funding will come primarily from team fees, sponsorships, fundraising, and donations. Our hope is to form lasting partnerships with local businesses and organizations to help provide opportunities for students to get involved with our program and the community. Your support can help ensure all student athletes have an opportunity to play, and that our players will be wearing the best and safest equipment we can offer.
What are we asking for?
- Charitable donations and corporate sponsorship for our football program
- Partnerships with local businesses to help provide an opportunity for student to get involved with our program, and the community
- Financial support for athletes who cannot afford to play
- Financial support to purchase necessary equipment to help keep our athletes safe
